POV: I’m standing at the edge of the dock as the mooring lines slacken and fall. A tug gives the stern a final nudge, bow thrusters murmur, and the cargo vessel slides away. It climbs diagonally through the frame, rising from the dock toward open water, containers stacked like a moving skyline. The cranes and bollards drift into the lower corner, gulls cut the air, the horn rolls across the harbor, and the wake fans out as the ship commits to the shipping lane. One continuous shot, all momentum and lift — the moment of departure captured as ascent.
